“The restaurant business will be highly demand, this time will come” - with these words Gauhar Sartaevna’s older brother Almatbek Sartaevich sent his sister to enroll in the Alma-Ata College of Soviet Commerce. A graduate of the school from Kyzylorda faced a difficult choice - connecting her life with sports which occupied one of the important roles in her life: professionally engaging in athletics or listening to advice. Authority and respect for older brother who was keen in business preceded.
      Gauhar Sartaevna Mykhanova was born on December 21, 1966 in the Tasboget, village, 9 kilometers from Kyzylorda, in a land with an abundant historical past: once Kyzylorda, ex Ak-Meshit, was the capital of the Kazakh SSR. The landscape of the native land of our story’s heroine abounds with tugai, rice fields, one of the largest rivers in Central Asia, the Syr Darya, flows through and gives life to everything green. She receives a certificate of maturity and goes to the capitall, where in 1984 she enters the catering technologist. After 4 years, a young specialist Mykhanova leaves Alma-Ata, but she will return there multiple times to conquer the metropolis. The Almaty mountains will replace an endless steppe, Baikonur is disappeared, like an oasis in the desert, where spaceships are sent to surf expanses of the Universe. The cosmodrome, located in Baikonur, is the first and largest in the world, founded in the time of the Unions. Finding a job in Baikonur, when the world was just began mastering space, was difficult, almost impossible, but thanks to the obstinacy and perseverance of Gauhar Sartaevna, she managed to get a job in the Space Military Commerce with Moscow support. It took Gauhar Sartaevna 3 months to “grow” from a cook to a cashier. The efforts and diligence were appreciated by the management, and offers a 21-year-old girl to become a technologist, her natural modesty and simplicity prevail, but Gauhar Sartaevna refuses, becoming the head of the warehouse of the Military Trade. 
      After required 3 years of working, Gauhar Sartaevna returns to her native city Kyzylorda, where her parents live. Father - Sartai Mykhanov - devoted his life to agriculture, leaded the state farm Zhetikul, held the post of the Department of Agriculture in the Syrdarya district. In his native city Tasboget there is a street named after the father of our heroine. Daughter remembers him as a very kind, honest man who loves work. 
      Mother - Shyrynkul Baymakhanova - taught the children of the village their native language. The couple raised six children together - four sons and two daughters, Gauhar Sartaevna is the fifth child in the family.Gauhar Sartaevna’s mother was widowed early, she coped with all the struggles steadfastly, which makes the children proud of her. Now Shyrinkul apai is 86 years old, she lives with her children in Kyzylorda.
       The elder brother Almatbek, who had played an important role for our heroine, lives in Almaty, he is a very respected businessman in the city, and, literally replaced the father for younger siblings. The middle child, Berdibek Mykhanov, works by the sweat on his brow in his native city Kyzylorda, heading several companies, has gained authority among fellow countrymen. Gauhar Sartavna’s third brother, Nurlan, died last year. The fourth brother Talgat lives in Almaty, he is a businessman, leads a large construction company. The younger sister Zhanar and her husband Jean are very close ones for our heroine. “Wherever we are, we are always together, we are like one family, there is a strong friendship between us,” Gauhar Sartaevna says. Shyrynkul apa likes to repeat about the exceptional role of Zhanar in the life of her older sister: “- Gauhar zhalgyz kalmasyn dep, Zhanardy duniege akeldim” (“- I gave birth to Zhanar so Gauhar wouldn’t be left alone”), realizing that the sisters will become each other’s support and joy in their life. 
      All children of the late Sartai Mykhanov became an individual, found their belong in life.
      The history of the Soviet Union which lasted 70 years has ended, devastation followed which became the cause of “dashing” of the nineties, troubled times reigned. Those were the times where many went into commerce. Gauhar Sartaevna was no exception, having opened a store in Tasboget (“Arai” LLP). She took a loan, bought small wares in Alma-Ata, went to Poland for clothes. Then she saw the sacred “foreign lands” for the first time. However, the business in the small town did not last long, and the owner moved to Alma-Ata, where she continued trading, bringing Europe wares, like all merchants do those years. It is apparent that the competition in the capital of this times was huge, she had to prompt to the province, to Baikonur. On Baikonur, by the will of fate, the heroine meets her soulmate - Bolat Aldabergenov, who ran his own restaurant “Kristina” in the city itself. In 1996, the couple had their first child - daughter Zarina, a year later the young family moved to Alma-Ata. Here, united with the family of Zhanar’s sister, Gauhar Sartaevna opens a cookery and a grocery store. The mercury is rising at the beginning of the zeroes businessmen buy the restaurant “Aragosta”. The success of those years was completely – a personal eating establishments right in the center of the southern capital. Besides financial resources business partners have invested their whole soul into the project. But the happy events in Gauhar life did not end yet: a woman becomes a mother of the long-awaited son Aziz the descendant of the Aldanbergenovs,. In her husband’s family, Gauhar Sartaevna was like a full-fledged daughter, not just wife to be. Father and mother-in-law lovingly called her “ainalayyn” Father-in-law and mother-in-law, who, unfortunately, are no longer alive, cherishingly called our heroine “ainalayyn”. Despite the fact that they are no longer alive, she always treated her husband’s parents with respect and love, remembering the Kazakh adage - “Istegenin aldyna keledi” (“Everything you do will come back upon you”). Gauhar Sartaevna continues to feel their kindness through her husband’s siblings, Bolat Aldabergenov has eight of them, during a phone call, Saltanat’s sister-in-law addresses to heroine of our story “zhanym” (“my soul”).
      An extensively construction project in the center of Almaty can’t bypass the restaurant anymore. Gauhar Sartaevna’s restaurant, in 2007 “Aragosta” falls under demolition. Would the Rockefellers be themselves if they were disheartened after such a failure? The tough calls of the “dashing” 90s, the years of doing business force entrepreneurs to go along. They open a beauty salon Viva at the same 2007 year. It should be noted that in this period of time the beauty industry was only developing. The peculiarity was to attract Turkish specialists, who are professionals and worth its weight in gold in this industry. When the salon was ready to receive its first customers, another devaluation hit. Working in a crisis, economic fluctuations forces our heroine to sell her salon and continue the work in food industry started in the 90s. The chain of canteens “Ashana.kz” becomes a “breath of fresh air” for Gauhar Sartaevna’s business. The business is expanding In 2011 and the Tiamo coffee shop opens.
      Despite the established business, Gauhar Sartaevna becomes a manager at the Royal Tulip Almaty hotel, where she receives knowledge and experience that become a big start-up company in the future. The versatility of the five-star hotel, which combined several restaurants, bars, spa, banquet hall, buffet, conference room, marketing section, will allow successfully conduct a new type of business in the future.
      In Kyzylorda, the couple launched a year-round water park Aray from scratch. The entertainment complex replenished the cultural space of the Kyzylorda region, the akim of the region took part in the grand opening. The first guests of the water park were the children of orphanages. All because Gauhar Sartaevna’s activity has a social orientation: a woman takes care of people in need, providing them with the necessary assistance. 
      Business successes and failures taught our heroine to conduct business in a new way. Soon the business facilities were replenished with the game center “ARAY PLAY PARK”, karting, night club “ARAY”, screened-in patio, guest houses, SPA center, shopping and entertainment center “ARAY City”, which has no equal in the entire Kyzylorda region. The shopping complex includes the largest Kazakhstan company engaged in retail trade “Magnum”. 
      In 2016, our heroine and her family return to Almaty. In 2021, the management of the water park again invites the marrieds to renovate the complex “ARAY”. It was difficult to restore the business, but they found the strength and bankroll to do it, despite the fact that it took a whole year. After completing her business in Kyzylorda, Gauhar Sartaevna returns home to Almaty.
      Gauhar Sartaevna is proud that she was able to realize herself and helped many of her students become more successful. Every day of our heroine does not pass without calls, messages, meetings with people who learn the basics of entrepreneurship from her. Gauhar Sartaevna admits: “- They share their progress, their news - it’s so wonderful!”. Today businessmen whose Gauhar Sartayeva has become a mentor are developing their business in Kyzylorda, Shymkent, Nur-Sultan, Moscow and Ukraine. The family and children were determinative for Gauhar Sartaevna and her husband. The desire to give children more, to show the world, to open the opportunities were the main motivation. She likes to remind her children of simple but strong sense “Never give up, go forward, achieve what is intended, because now is the age of information and great opportunities, learn, knowledge is your best weapon”
      Today Gauhar Sartaevna has a new motivation - a grandson, Zarina’s daughter son. But children of our heroine are not those who were born with a silver spoon in their mouth. Zarina’s daughter graduated from KIMEP University with an MBA degree in fashion. at the University of Milan IED. Now she lives in Los Angeles with her family. Son Aziz is studying at the American Southeast Missouri University in St. Louis, Missouri. Our heroine calls her sister’s little daughter Ayim her own child - she studies in the 6th grade of the Almaty school. 
      Passed the hard way from cook to business owner, Gauhar Satayeva realized that fear is the main enemy in any business. “Don’t be afraid of trying anything new. Don’t be afraid of changes. Use any opportunity given to you, even if fate never much for gifts, create these opportunities by yourself” our heroine likes to repeat these words. Her biography is a living proof of that.



      “Ресторанный бизнес будет самым модным, придёт время” - с этими словами старший брат Гаухар Сартаевны, Алматбек Сартаевич, отправил сестрёнку поступать в Алма-Атинский техникум советской торговли. Перед выпускницей школы, приехавшей из Кызылорды стоял непростой выбор - связать свою жизнь со спортом, который в её жизни занимал одну из важных ролей, профессионально заняться лёгкой атлетикой или прислушаться к совету. Авторитет и уважение к брату, который знал толк в бизнесе, сделали своё дело. 
      Гаухар Сартаевна Мыханова родилась 21 декабря 1966 года в поселке Тасбогет, что в 9 километрах от Кызылорды, в краю, имеющем богатое историческое прошлое: когда-то Кызылорда, в прошлом Ак-Мешит, была столицей Казахской ССР. Природа родной земли героини нашей истории изобилует тугаями, рисовыми полями, по ней протекает и даёт всему жизнь одна из крупнейших рек в Средней Азии - Сырдарья. Получив аттестат зрелости, она отправляется в столицу, где в 1984 году поступает на технолога общественного питания. Спустя 4 года молодой специалист Мыханова покидает Алма-Ату, однако сюда она ещё вернётся и не раз, чтобы покорить мегаполис. Алматинские горы сменит бесконечная степь, в которой, как оазис в пустыне, затерялся Байконур, откуда космические корабли отправляются бороздить просторы Вселенной. Космодром, расположенный в Байконуре, является первым и крупнейшим в мире,основан ещё во времена Союзов. Трудоустроиться в Байконуре, когда мир только осваивал космос, был трудно, практически невозможно, но благодаря упорству и настойчивости Гаухар Сартаевны ей удалось устроиться в Космическую Военную торговлю с московским обеспечением. 3 месяца потребовалось Гаухар Сартаевне, чтобы из повара “вырасти” до кассира. Старания и прилежность по-достоинству были оценены руководством, которое вскоре предлагает 21-летней девушке стать технологом, природная скромность и простота берут верх, Гаухар Сартаевна отказывается, сделав выбор в пользу должности завскладом Военторга. 
      Отработав положенные 3 года, Гаухар Сартаевна возвращается в родную Кызылорду, где живут её родители. Отец - Сартай Мыханов - посвятил жизнь сельскому хозяйству, возглавлял совхоз “Жетікүл”, занимал пост начальника Управления сельского хозяйство по Сырдарьинскому району. В родном Тасбогете даже есть улица, названная в честь отца нашей героини. Дочь помнит его очень добрым, честным человеком, любящим труд. 
      Мама - Шырынкул Баймаханова - обучала детей посёлка родному языку. Вместе супруги воспитали шестерых детей - четверых сыновей и двух дочерей, Гаухар Сартаевна в семье пятая.Мама Гаухар Сартаевны рано овдовела, со всеми тяжестями она справилась стойко, что вызывает гордость у детей. Сейчас Шырынкуль апа 86 лет, живёт она рядом с детьми в Кызылорде. 
      Старший брат Алматбек, который сыграл важную роль в становлении нашей героини живёт в Алматы, он очень уважаемый бизнесмен в городе. Для младших братьев и сестёр он, в буквальном смысле, заменил отца. Средний брат - Бердибек Мыханов неустанно трудится в родной Кызылорде, возглавляя несколько компаний, завоевал авторитет у земляков. Третий брат Гаухар Сартавны - Нурлан- скончался в прошлом году. Четвёртый брат Талгат живёт в Алматы, он бизнесмен, руководит крупной строительной компанией. Младшая сестрёнка Жанар с мужем Жаном - очень близкие для нашей героини люди. “Где бы мы не были, мы всегда вместе, мы, как одна семья, между нами крепкая дружба” - рассказывает Гаухар Сартаевна. Об исключительной роли Жанар в жизни её старшей сестры любит повторять Шырынкуль апа: “- Гаухар жалғыз қалмасын деп, Жанарды дүниеге әкелдім” (“- Я родила Жанар, чтобы Гаухар не осталась одна”), понимая, что сестры станут поддержкой, опорой и радостью друг друга в жизни. 
      Все дети покойного Сартая Мыханова состоялись как личности, нашли своё место в жизни.
      Закончилась 70-летняя история Советского Союза, за этим последовала разруха, которая и стала причиной “лихости” девяностых, в буквальном смысле воцарились смутные времена. Тогда-то многие и подались в коммерцию.Гаухар Сартаевна не стала исключением, открыв в Тасбогете магазин (ТОО “Арай”). Взяла кредит, закупила в Алма-Ате мелкий товар, за одеждой даже выехала в Польшу. Тогда она впервые увидела заветную «заграницу».Однако бизнес в посёлке просуществовал недолго, а владелица уехала в Алма-Ату, где продолжила торговлю, привозя товар из Европы, как и все коммерсанты в те годы. Понятно, что конкуренция в тогдашней столице была огромной, пришлось “податься” в провинцию, в Байконур. А в Байконуре нашу героиню судьба сведёт со своей половинкой - Болатом Алданбергеновым, который руководил собственным рестораном “Кристина” в городе. В 1996 году у пары появился первенец - дочь Зарина, через год молодая семья перебралась в Алма-Ату. Здесь объединившись с семьёй сестры Жанар, Гаухар Сартаевна открывает кулинарию и продуктовый магазин. Дела молодых, но целеустремлённых людей пошли в гору: в начале “нулевых” бизнесмены покупают ресторан “Aragosta”. Успех в те годы просто небывалый - собственное заведение общественного питания в центре южной столицы. В него партнёры по бизнесу помимо финансовых средств вложили всю душу. На этом счастливые события в жизни Гаухар Сартаевны не заканчиваются: в 2002 году женщина становится во второй раз матерью долгожданного сына-продолжателя рода Алданбергеновых - Азиза. В семье своего супруга Гаухар Сартаевна была не просто невесткой, а дочерью. Свёкр со свекровью, которых, к сожалению, уже нет в живых, нежно называли нашу героиню “айналайын”, которая всегда с уважением и любовью относилась к родителям мужа, помня казахскую поговорку - “Істегенің алдыңа келеді” (“Совершённое тобой к тебе непременно вернётся”). Несмотря на то что отец и мать супруга покинули этот мир, невестка продолжает чувствовать их доброе отношение уже через родных братьев и сестер мужа, а их у Болата Алданбергенова восемь, троих уже не стало: золовка Салтанат, звоня, обращаясь к героине нашей истории, называет её “жаным” (“душа моя”). 
      Масштабная стройка в центре теперь уже Алматы не обходит стороной ресторан Гаухар Сартаевны, в 2007 году “Aragosta” попадает под снос. Были бы Рокфеллеры Рокфеллерами, если бы опускали руки после каждой такой неудачи? Испытания “лихих” 90-х, годы ведения бизнеса заставляют двигаться предпринимателей дальше. В том же 2007-м они открывают салон красоты “Viva”. К слову, бьюти-сфера в те годы только развивается. Особенностью было привлечение турецких специалистов, которые славятся своим мастерством и в индустрии что называется “на вес золота”. Когда салон был готов принимать своих клиентов, произошла очередная девальвация. Работа в условиях кризиса, экономических “качель” заставляет продать салон и продолжить начатое в 90-х деятельность в сфере питания. Сеть столовых “Aсхана.kz” становится “глотком свежего воздуха” для бизнеса Гаухар Сартаевны. В 2011 году бизнес расширяется: открывается кофейня “Tiamo”.
      Несмотря на налаженный бизнес Гаухар Сартаевна становится управляющим в отеле Royal Tulip Almaty, где получает знания и опыт, которые «выльются» в дальнейшем в один большой стартап. Многоплановость пятизвёздочной гостиницы, которая сочетала в себе несколько ресторанов, баров, spa, банкетный зал, шведский стол, конференц-зал, маркетинговый отдел, позволят в будущем успешно вести новый вид бизнеса. 
      В Кызылорде супруги с нуля запустили всесезонный аквапарк «Aray». Развлекательный комплекс пополнил культурное пространство Кызылординского региона, в торжественном открытии принял участие аким области. Первыми гостями аквапарка стали воспитанники детских домов. Всё потому, что деятельность Гаухар Сартаевны имеет социальную направленность:женщина заботиться о нуждающихся, оказывая им необходимую помощь. 
      Бизнес-взлеты, сменяющиеся падениями, новыми взлетами научили нашу героиню вести дело по-новому. Вскоре предпринимательские объекты пополнились игровым центром «ARAY PLAY PARK», картингом, ночным клубом «ARAY», летней террасой, гостевыми домиками, SPA-центром, торгово-развлекательным центром «ARAY City», аналога которому нет во всей Кызылординской области. Торговый комплекс включает в себя крупнейшую казахстанскую компанию, занимающейся розничной торговлей «Magnum». 
      В 2016 героиня с семьей возвращается в Алматы. В 2021 году руководство аквапарка вновь приглашает супругов восстановить комплекс «ARAY». Было сложно восстановить бизнес, но нашлись силы и средства это сделать, несмотря на то, что понадобился целый год. Завершив дела в Кызылорде, Гаухар Сартаевна возвращается домой, в Алматы.
      Гаухар Сартаевна гордится тем, что смогла реализоваться не только сама, но и тем, что помогла стать успешнее многим своим ученикам. Каждый день нашей героини не проходит без звонков, сообщений, встреч с теми, кто учится у неё основам предпринимательства. Гаухар Сартаевна признаётся: «-Они делятся своими успехами, своими новостями - это так прекрасно!». Сегодня бизнесмены, для которых Гаухар Сартаевна стала наставником, развивают своё дело в Кызылорде, Шымкенте, Нур-Султане, в Москве и в Украине. Определяющей в деле Гаухар Сартаевны и её супруга была семья, дети. Желание дать детям большее, показать мир, открыть возможности были главными «двигателями». Своим детям она любит напоминать одну простую, но глубокую истину: “Никогда не сдаваться, идти только вперед, достичь того, что задумано, потому что сейчас век информации и больших возможностей,учитесь, знание - это ваше лучшее оружие”.
      Сегодня у Гаухар Сартаевны родилась новая мотивация - внук, сын дочери Зарины. Дети нашей героини не из тех, кому всё подавалось “на блюдечке с голубой каемочкой”. Дочь Зарина закончила Университет КИМЭП, имеет степень магистра миланского университета IED в сфере моды. Сейчас со своей семьей она проживает в Лос-Анджелесе. Сын - Азиз- учиться в американском Southeast Missouri University, в городе Сент-Луис, штат Миссури.Своей дочерью наша героиня называет и дочь своей сестренки - маленькую Айым- девочка учится в 6-м классе в одной из алматинских школ.
      Пройдя непростой путь от повара до владельца бизнеса, Гаухар Сартаевна поняла, что страх - главный враг в любом деле. “Не бойтесь пробовать себя. Не бойтесь ничего нового. Не бойтесь перемен. Используйте любую возможность, которая вам дается, а если судьба скудна на подарки, ищите и создавайте эти возможности сами” - любит повторять наша героиня. Её биография яркое тому подтверждение.
